They liked Million Dollar baby.
Theirs is not an opinion that I am going to dignify with any comment.
It was worthy of recognition, but was by no means the best film out there, none of those on the list were. The problem with the Oscars is it's always the same five films on each of the major awards, there's no variety. Eternal Sunshine easily deserved it's best screenplay Bafta and Oscar, an amazing film. But where was I Heart Huckabees? Travesty...
