How to Condemn a Provocative Act and Love the Bomb...

Following the now almost certain Nuclear Test the U.N. are shedding their usual indecisive persona to seriously consider the possibility of maybe taking some kind of forthright action once all the opinions are on and we’re sure of what happened and everyone’s had a cup of tea and the Belgian delegation have had their consignment of chocolates returned to them, but by then its lunch time so, 1 hour recess, and an extra 20minutes prayer time for all those of a religious persuasion so that gets us on to about two o’clock, only its not, in London the stock markets are open so the British delegation, part of the security council, but only because it developed the nuclear bomb, one of the original five, has to take a break while they check on the strength of the pound and the waits to see if the Bank of England has raised interest rates. So somewhere in the region of 5pm someone quickly knocks up the following so as to look like all the money given to the U.N. is worth it.

The list included these drastic targeted regime-punishing measures
· Halting trade in material that could be used to make weapons of mass destruction
· Inspections of cargo going in and out of North Korea
· The ending of financial transactions used to support nuclear proliferation
· A ban on the import of luxury goods

So.. by far the cutting of these moves, no more WMD materials for North Korea, they had their chance to be responsible, but, much to everyone’s surprise they used these materials for “evil”… so no more of those for Mr. Jung Ill.

Good, next, inspections of cargo, going in and out by see no doubt, as China is never in your life going to let UN tropps wonder around on the border. So, loophole, given the official Chinese line is one of disapproval, all be quite strong, the more communist leaning aspects of the Chinese government are sure to find ways of slipping goodies to their neighbour as China itself becomes temped by the capitalist goodies the west has to offer, like, Disney, Fox news, what propaganda obsessed government could function without the security of a Murdoch News Association.

The ending of financial transactions used to support nuclear proliferation… that’s surely over the top, the is no proof, that these transactions, actually cause nuclear weapons, obviously we should investigate the links and keep an open mind, but to close down these financial movements just because they have the word Nuclear in the title is small minded. Obviously, this title, is derived… from the word Nucleus, not of an atom but its more simplistic reference of the centre, these financial transactions are probably just central to monetary proliferation, as in, err… trade, yes, trade, so these transaction are central to trade, and for the well being of the Korean people must continue. Yes? Agreed? Oh look, Elvis…

A ban on the import of luxury items. Well ok, yes, I think a ban on, fine wines and chocolates is probably about a proportional response. All these other are silly though, and will on make the people of Korea suffer, I mean, you know (blairite hand gesture, pretty straight guy smile, honest forehead -) if any of these other things were really in any way related to North Korea, the only true isolationist government actively hostile to global peace, getting an real live Nuclear device, then they would already have been suspended, wouldn’t they?

Yes?

I thought so…

Hmmm…
