Here we have an efficient action film whose only fault really was that Mark Wahlberg was where Steve Seagull ought to have been. Lines like “you don’t understand, these guys killed my dog” were classic Seagull material, and Whahlberg couldn’t really do them justice. The plot, something about an ex-military sniper being framed for a crime he didn’t commit, was straight out of quite an old catalogue and yet on the whole, despite the Whahlberhghh surplus and the Seagull deficit, the whole thing was quite entertaining. Shame it wasn’t Seagull, though.
Strong wood! Strong wood!
