Tony Blair, goes over there....

So Blair has swung himself a new Job, he will be peace envoy to the Middle East…

Now it may be just me, but they’re going to kill him aren’t they?

I know they have loads of security and he’ll only be the safe areas and mostly under the protection of the Israeli army (and its not like they shoot children or anything), but… I mean they will surely find away, extremists are surly reliable in their determination, Al Qaeda aren’t exactly the lazy can’t be bothered types of the International terrorism community. And Blair will be right there?

So if we accept that we are quite firmly in red flag to a bull territory, (Blair is the Flag, Every pissed off Muslim is the bull, collectively, so to speak and the arena is represented by Jerusalem.)

So if you accept the above analogy who are the spectators? Who is this for, are the Quartet offering Blair as a human sacrifice, will the two state solution be accepted if its christen with Blair’s head on a spike?

Who cares… he’s not our problem any more, he’s going to place where war crimes are a way of life and lets hope he’s happy there. Actually no, lets hope he isn’t.

The niggling thing was, and no-one likes to say it, but the fact that Blair was going did make me realise that he had a lot of flaws, but as a result of Blair we are quite well off as a nation, if not as a planet. Blair’s new role was a curious though, why not Africa or Climate Change for this very able and prestigious statesman? These causes which Blair attempted to use to remove Iraq from his Legacy? Maybe Blair has finally accepted that Iraq, and the Middle East is his legacy. In which case he has taken the first steps to trying to resolve the biggest clash of cultures there world has known other than the cold war.

And he is perhaps to be admired for doing something other than sitting on the boards of multinational arms dealers (Major) or getting by on the after dinner speaker circuit (Hague).

The Blair story, is not over…

I'm impressed John! Blair, a word processor and you. And your analysis is remarkably balanced for someone that would enjoy seeing Blair's balls jammed into a toaster. Or at least hearing about it.
