I Heart Huckabees

Every now and then someone makes a film which is intreging, exsquicit and perfect, a film that touchs the heart, the soul, that you can identiify with, this is one such film i believe. Albert is a guy, an ecowarrior, a poet- eco-warrior who hires private detectives to investigate his life, his own life.

Dustin hoffman and lily Tomlin are the detectives, they start by asking him to step inside a body bag. From here on in the cast including Naomi Watts, Jude Law and Mark Wahlberg (both of which surprise and shine... and i don't like saying that about either of them) and Jason Schwartzman as Albert hurtle through a bazarre and hilarious journey towards the ending and a conclusion to life the universe and everything, and it ain't forty two, its okay... Life is okay, ireally feel that now, everything is OK.

If i said more i'd ruin it, and one day i'll write a longer peice explaining why i love this film, but you should see it for yourselves, it is fast, all encompassing, topical and it trusts you - the audience not to be a dumb retard, to be able to think outside the box and to keep up, something not a lot of film-makers like to do these days, and this is a pity, because as Director David O. Russell shows, it means you can pack alot into 106 minutes. I loved I Heart Huckabees and if you're on this site, i think you will too, go on... off you go, quick, while it's still showing...

The System Casts Its Verdict

It scored 100/100. There's not much more to say - it's lovely.

Has that ever happened before?

Johnny what did Donnie Darko get? You will have to rescore, i'm getting the EXCTENDED cUT FOR cHRISTMAS

Donnie Darko

Didn't see that at the cinema so it hasn't been subjected to The System. Lost in Translation is the only other film to score 100/100.
BT Internet are minions of Satan and I am thinking seriously about using some very rude words about them.
